These terms apply to towing, recovery and roadside services provided by Ironline Towing & Recovery (“Ironline”, “we”, “us”) in Edmonton and surrounding communities. By requesting service, you agree to these terms.
Requesting service
When you call or submit a request, please give us accurate information about your location, vehicle, its condition and your destination. The price and the equipment we send are based on that information. If the situation on arrival is materially different, we will explain the difference and ask for your approval before continuing.
Estimates and consent
As required by Alberta’s Vehicle Towing and Storage Regulation, you will receive a written estimate before towing begins, and we will obtain consent from the vehicle’s owner or their representative, unless the tow is directed by law enforcement or a government authority. You will receive an itemized invoice when the service is complete. Your final price will not be more than 10% (up to a maximum of $100) over your written estimate unless you agree to the higher price first.
Payment
Payment is due when the service is completed, unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit, cash and Interac e-Transfer. Credit card payments carry a 2.4% surcharge. Debit, cash and e-Transfer: no surcharge. All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include GST (5%), which is added to your invoice.
Cancellations
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation charges depend on when you cancel, and they are included in your written estimate:

| If we arrive more than 30 minutes later than the arrival time we gave you | No charge |
Roadside calls (battery boost, lockout, spare tire installation, fuel delivery): no charge before dispatch; $30 + GST after dispatch; $50 + GST after we arrive, for example if the vehicle has already started or no one is there. No charge if we arrive more than 30 minutes after the time we quoted.
If your vehicle is not ready when we arrive, waiting time applies after the first 20 minutes at $80 per hour + GST, as stated in your estimate. You will receive a written invoice before any payment is collected.
Lockouts and proof of ownership
For your security, after we open a vehicle we ask to see the vehicle registration and a photo ID with a matching name, or we confirm with the registered owner by phone. We look at your ID but do not copy or photograph it. If ownership cannot be verified, we lock the vehicle again and the lockout fee still applies, because the service has been performed. If we cannot open your vehicle without damage, there is no charge.
Your vehicle and belongings
Please remove valuables from the vehicle when it is safe to do so. You may retrieve personal belongings and inspect your vehicle’s condition as provided under the regulation. Tell us about any existing damage, modifications or known mechanical issues before the tow begins.
Insurance and responsibility
Ironline is commercially insured, including on-hook coverage for vehicles in our care. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical failures unrelated to our service, or items left in the vehicle. If you believe your vehicle was damaged during our service, contact us as soon as possible so we can review it with you.
Safety
We may decline or pause a service if continuing would put people, vehicles or property at risk. If anyone is injured or in immediate danger, call 911 first.
